Sustainability

Sustainability is really important to us at Pip & Ink and was an essential building block for us starting this little business. 

Here are some of the ways we are conscious of our footprint:

• Firstly, every little ruffle collar is proudly made locally here in the U.K. which enables us to offer a product that has a significantly reduced carbon footprint.

• Secondly, all the materials we use are made from natural high quality cotton such as Liberty in addition to a few linens.

• Thirdly, the majority of the fabrics we use is either from our own personal archive or discontinued lines and surplus remnants. Using what is already out there as much as possible is really important to us.

• Fourth, everything made is of heirloom quality and made to be able to be handed down and used again and again.

• Fifth, the amount of fabric required is much less than that used in making up an entire outfit and yet it can complete and make one! Win, win! 

• Sixth, these little ruffle collars take no time at all to wash and dry, saving on laundry space and energy!

• Seventh, all packaging is plant based and recyclable. You won’t find any nasty unnecessary synthetics or plastics.
